Brendan Desautels joined the Athletic Development team in February 2024 as Assistant Director, Athletics Leadership Giving.

Desautels arrives in Chestnut Hill after serving as the Assistant Director of Development for Athletics at Stony Brook University. Prior to his time on Long Island, he served as the Director of Sport Specific Giving at the United States Military Academy at West Point where he developed a sport-specific giving strategy to support cadet student-athletes.

Before his role at West Point, he was an Account Executive in the Washington Nationals front office, helping drive revenue through ticket sales. Prior to his time in Major League Baseball, Desautels served as Assistant to the Program Director of Athletic Advancement at the University of Notre Dame.

As part of his current role, Desautels supports alumni, family, and friends of the University in the New England area, as well as the New York City metro area and Midwest. He is also the department liaison for the Baseball and Swim and Dive teams.

Desautels is a 2021 graduate of Assumption University, where he was captain of the baseball team. He is also a 2022 graduate of the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. He is a native of Holden, Massachusetts.
